About 

Born in Poland but living and working in the UK for over 20 years, Agnes is an established painter, designer and creative entrepreneur. Other aspects of her practise also include educational work, gallery exhibitions co-ordinator and art curator.

 

Agnes studied Fine Art at IDI University of Hertfordshire, she also trained as a Social Worker and holds a Master’s degree in Sociology.

Agnes had a successful career as a Social Worker, Health and Social Care educator as well as Registered Care Home Manager, she focused on her art career since 2011. 

 

Her main subjects are exotic plants, florals and animals. Agnes creates enchanting visual scenes in which nature and human alike animals intertwine. She invites the viewer to take a journey into her dreamscapes full of unusual looking plants and animals in a lush scenery. Each piece is a story, lifting it from purely decorative art to a narrative work.

 

Agnes predominantly works with acrylic and oil paint on canvas and ink and watercolour on paper. Over the past 10 years she has developed a signature style and her work travelled to collectors around the world.

She also designs greeting cards, inspirational posters, bags, ceramic vases and unique gifts.

 

Agnes works from her studio in London and is a member of SPACE Studios@ Ilford which is a creative hub of 35 artists, makers and creative businesses based in the beautiful building of Redbridge Town Hall. 

 

Agnes believes in the power of Positive Art.
